Wolfgang Baeck
– Wolfgang is a professional engineer in Applied Physics from a Hochschule in Munich, Germany. He has been a consultant in Database, Real Time Systems, and Object Oriented technology for many years, taught and lectured but mostly helped businesses to implement their business process with the right technology for the future. Wolfgang had formal education in computer science, performance analysis, capacity planning, and artificial intelligence.

– Marc is currently a Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence Consultant utilizing the Microsoft BI tool stack. He has a breadth of IT work experience including web development, network support and SQL Server development. Todd Behrbaum
– Todd Behrbaum has 13 years of technology management experience, most recently focused on building a partnership with Microsoft to develop and market enterprise level solutions. Prior to joining PolyServe, he was the Site Manager for Compaq and HP's server and solutions organization in Bellevue, WA. He collaborated with Microsoft on new technologies, enterprise solutions, and strategic initiatives targeted at Fortune 500 customers. Prior to Compaq, Todd held business development and project management positions at Tempress and IBM where he identified new markets and grew revenues in new channels. Todd graduated from the University of Washington with both a Masters and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. Todd also served on the Board of Advisors to the University of Washington's Center for Technology Entrepreneurship.

Glenn Berry
– Glenn works as a Database Architect at NewsGator Technologies in Denver, CO. He is a SQL Server MVP, and he has a whole collection of Microsoft certifications, including MCITP, MCDBA, MCSE, MCSD, MCAD, and MCTS, which proves that he likes to take tests. He is also an Adjunct Faculty member at University College - University of Denver, where has been teaching since 2000. He recently completed the Master Teacher Program at University College.

Carlos Bossy
– Carlos Bossy has more than 20 years of experience in software and database development as a developer, DBA, and Architect. He has also held a number of management positions while implementing technology solutions for businesses in a wide range of industries, including Financial Services, Travel, Broadcasting, Telecom and CRM. Carlos has been working with SQL Server for 8 years and with the .NET Framework since it’s inception. He led the development of the first hotel reservations system to perform real-time bookings and property location mapping, managed the development of the leading application used by in broadcasting operations, and as VP of Technology oversaw the development of the full suite of CRM products for the Rapore brand. Since 2004, Carlos has been an independent consultant working for his own company, Aabcom Solutions. He helps businesses implement advacned Business Intelligence solutions using data warehouses, predictive analytics, and data integration. In his spare time, Carlos likes to travel, play golf, ride his bike, and talk to his kids about Math. He received his B.A. degree in Mathematics from the State University of New York, Albany.

Kevin Cox
– Kevin Cox has worked in the database field for over 30 years as DBA, author, lecturer, consultant and now Principal Program Manager on the SQL Server Customer Advisory Team. He has been fortunate to work on some of the largest database projects in the world and has become an expert in both scale up and scale out databases. He has authored a book on SQL Server and many articles for SQL Server, DBMS magazines and even the old HP3000 magazine. He has a strong application development and architecture background and was previously certified to teach Powerbuilder and Visual Basic. Kevin spent several years as a Data Center Manager during the days of large mainframes honing his mission critical skills. Kevin has an MBA degree from the University of Denver and a BS Degree from Arizona State University.

Maurice De Vidts
– Mr. De Vidts started working with databases in 1989 during a co-op internship with IBM in Florida. Since then, Mr. De Vidts has worked with all major database systems, Oracle, IBM DB2, and SQL Server.
Through his career Mr. De Vidts has worked primarily as a consulting DBA and Database Architect to several major projects such as the City of Chicago real estate management system, the state of Texas workforce commission, and Homeland Security. During these projects Mr. De Vidts has focused on performance tuning and developer best practices , maximizing efficiencies in the systems he has worked in.
In addition to performance tuning, Mr. De Vidts has spent considerable time developing ETL data transformation packages using DTS and SSIS. During his work at Homeland Security he architected and wrote advanced data cleansing and validation interfaces to third party software and designed an elaborate data load and exception management schema capable of merging new data with existing records.
More recently Mr. De Vidts has been with the Customer Focused Testing group with Hewlett Packard where he is testing advanced SQL Server 2008 configurations and writes white papers with the resulting best practices achieved on HP hardware platforms.
Mr. De Vidts hold a B.S.E.E. from the University of Maryland and holds Oracle certifications since 1996. He is currently Oracle 9i certified and he is also pursuing his SQL Server certifications at this time.

Kalen Delaney
– Kalen Delaney has been working with SQL Server since 1987 when she joined the Sybase Corporation in Berkeley, California, where she work in both the technical support department the training organization. Kalen was an independent trainer and consultant from 1992 until she helped create Solid Quality Learning in 2002. As a consultant, she has worked with both the Microsoft and Sybase Corporations to develop courses and provide internal training for their technical support staff. Kalen has taught Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC) courses, as well as her own independently developed courses to clients around the world. In addition, she has been writing regularly about SQL Server since 1995. Her latest book, "Inside SQL Server 2005:The Storage Engine", from Microsoft Press, was released in October 2006 and she is currently working on the next volume: Inside SQL Server 2005:Tuning and Optimization. Kalen is also a contributing editor and columnist for SQL Server Magazine and has been a SQL Server MVP since 1993.

Andrew Dykstra
– Andrew is relatively new in the SQL Server community having only worked with SQL Server since 2007. Ben Hoelting
– Senior Software Developer, Colorado Technology Consultants, Inc. and C# MVP. Graduated from Colorado State University in 1997 with a BS in Computer Information Systems and a Minor in Computer Science. Ben joined the IT industry in 1996 as an intern and has worked with .NET since its inception back in 2002. Worked for the Gates Corporation (formally the Gates Rubber Company) from 2000 – 2005. He left Gates to pursue a consulting career. Currently he works for Colorado Technology Consultants, Inc. in Colorado Springs. His most recent projects include a Silverlight line of business application that uses the ADO.NET Entity Framework to access the backend data store. He also still supports and adds features to a Windows forms Smart Client that requires offline support, an ASP.NET tracking system for the floral industry and a Microsoft CRM customization using ASP.NET. Ben is also a MCP, certified in both CRM Customizations and .NET Framework Application Development. Finally, Ben is very involved in the local .NET community and is the leader of the South Colorado .NET User Group.

Eric Johnson
– Eric Johnson (MCSE, MCITP: Database Administrator, MCSD) is a co-founder of Consortio Services, and the primary Database Technologies Consultant. He also also a Microsoft MVP in SQL Server and a host of the weekly podcast series CS TechCast (cstechcast.com). Currently he works for IntrinsiQ as a database developer. His background in Information Technology is diverse, ranging from operating systems and hardware to specialized applications and development. He has even done his fair share of work on networks. Since IT is really just a way to support business processes, he has also acquired his MBA. All in all, he has 10 years of experience with IT, a great amount of which has been working with Microsoft SQL Server. Eric has managed and designed databases of all shapes and sizes. He has delivered numerous SQL Server training classes and webcasts as well as presentations at national technology conferences. Most recently, he presented at TechMentor on SQL Server 2005 Replication, Reporting Services, and Integration Services. He also does a good deal of writing, including the recent four-part series, Tour de SQL, published in Redmond magazine.

Joshua Jones
– Joshua Jones (MCTS: SQL Server 2005, MCITP: Database Administrator) is co-owner and Operating Systems Consultant with Consortio Services in Colorado Springs, CO. There he provides training, administration, analysis, and design support for customers utilizing SQL Server 2000 and 2005. In his 7 years as an IT professional, he worked in multiple areas of Information Technology including Windows desktop support, Windows 2000 and 2003 server infrastructure design and support (AD, DNS, Exchange), telephony switch support, and network support. Peter Myers
– Peter Myers has nine years' solid experience working in OLTP database design and development, DBA support and Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence with SQL Server. Specializing in developing custom data-focused applications and reporting solutions, he provides architecting, development, implementation and support services at all tiers of a multi-tier application. Bruce Prang
– Bruce Prang is a Group Manager in the Sql Server Manageability Group. This group is responsible for the overall manageability tools and infrastructure in the Sql Server group. Prior to this role he was the Development Manager for the Management Tools group which was responsible for SSMS, Sql Agent, SMO, SQLCMD, Profiler and DTA. Chris Shaw
– Chris is a SQL Server MVP and started working with SQL Server in 1995 and continues with it to this day. Steve Wake
– Steve Wake is a Senior Web Developer at Visa in the Member Processing Solutions group. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional and Microsoft Certified Applications Developer in .NET. He has worked at Visa for 12 years and has been a computer programmer since high school. He started working at Visa on creating and maintaining COBOL reporting and billing applications for MVS and AS/400 systems. In the last 6 years he has trained himself on ASP .NET and C# programming. When the first version of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services was released as an add-on to SQL Server 2000 he saw the potential to move most of the existing reporting at Visa to this platform.
