Board elections take place each November with the terms running from
the January following the election until December.
A summarized list of roles and responsibilities are as follows:
- General Board Responsibilities
- Appoint a Scribe to be confirmed by the majority of
the board.
- Appoint a Treasurer to be confirmed by the majority of the
board.
- President
- Assisting the Vice Presidents in their responsibilities.
- Working with PASS in an official capacity.
- Leading the Board of officers in their management meetings.
- Work on getting new sponsorship.
- Ensure that the elections are held in a fair manor.
- Promote the User Group at official Pass Functions
- Other duties as needed
- Vice President of Membership
- Work with the members of the user group to assist them in
any questions.
- Help to recruit new members.
- Keep a list of Members.
- Other duties as needed
- Vice President of Programs
- Schedule up new speakers.
- Find speakers to discuss subjects in which the User group
has interests
- Responsible for coordinating meeting locations
- Work on developing programs with other PASS Chapters
- Work on developing coop programs with sponsors and PASS.
- Vice President of Marketing
- Responsible for the User Group website.
- Promote the User Group.
- Work on getting new sponsorship.
